At Earth Day 2014, ETC and Food FWD were invited by Don’t Waste Durham to share their booth. Bryant Holsenbeck (an environmental artist) graciously created this polystyrene snake for our booth.

Since the start of Every Tray Counts in 2014, Noah and Sarah Marsh of Food FWD have been our strong partners and supporters. We are in awe of their commitment to sustainability and their vast knowledge of the industry. For the past four years, Food FWD has served Durham, Wake, and Orange Counties as a compost hauler and together we have diverted approximately 48 tons of lunchroom compostable waste.

ETC recently received this email from Noah of Food FWD:

“Sarah and I, along with our driver Roger, have joined CompostNow’s team! Our passions for positively impacting our local communities, the people we have met along the way, and making the world a better place align with CompostNow’s vision and mission. We also believe by joining CompostNow we will better serve you and make an even bigger impact in the world.”

We are pleased to hear that Food FWD and CompostNow have recently joined forces. CompostNow’s determination to grow the composting movement in the Triangle and North Carolina as a whole continues to impress and inspire.

Every Tray Counts would like to take this opportunity to congratulate everyone involved. We look forward to working with you and wish you continued success.
