Plastic pollution is a daunting problem especially given that a large percentage of this pollution will find its way to our oceans. BBC made some great charts that visually illustrate the scope of plastic pollution and although some of these statistics are specific to Great Britain, they nonetheless illustrate the global nature of the plastic problem.
