We Need You!

Help us develop the “toolkit” for NC schools!
As you know, Every Tray Counts is dedicated to working with children, parents, communities, and interested participants within North Carolina School districts to engage in responsible purchasing and waste diversion practices. Over time, we have participated in many conversations, meetings, and pilots about lunchroom purchasing and food waste diversion. We have discovered that the threads between the school district, lunch room procedures, food, the solid waste pick-up, and other areas are complicated and unique for each district, and often each school! Every Tray Counts and others are beginning to put this information in a format that any school in NC can use on their own path toward sustainability.

Can you help? We are looking for participation from each of these areas of expertise:
Local governments
Environmental groups
Education, school groups, the PTA, and other organizations
Solid Waste
NC Gov’t
Compost issues
Parents, community members, residents

Let us know if you would like to help by volunteering.

WE ALSO NEED YOUR SUPPORT though a donation, large or small! We have received money through a grant from Clif Bar, as well as several personal donations. Please consider donating through our website, or send a check to:
